The Bark-A-Bout Team worked very hard to this year bring aid to pets in need within our community.
This paw’liday, through Bark-A-Bout’s annual “Paws In Need” fundraiser, the Bark-A-Bout Team turned ‘Wags to Wishes‘ by gathering $7,000 of lifesaving funds to bless 3 local Michigan Pet Rescues who won our “Wags to Wishes, Letters To Santa” Contest:
1st Place ($3,000) Winner:
Canine Companions Rescue Center (Clarkston)
2nd Place ($2,000 each) Runner-Ups:
Detroit Animal Welfare Group (Romeo)
4 Paws 1 Heart (Southeast Michigan)

Last winter, through Bark-A-Bout’s “Paws In Need, Plunge For Paws, 2020” Fundraiser, the Bark-A-Bout Team and generous supporters worked very hard together to raise $15,300 for pets in need!
NBS Animal Rescue won Bark-A-Bout’s Grand Prize Donation, a check from Bark-A-Bout for $6,500!

In an extraordinary display of comradery, Grand Prize Winner, NBS Animal Rescue chose to donate $1,000 of their winnings to 2nd place runner-up, Making Miracles Animal Rescue and $500 to 3rd place runner-up, Teacher’s Pet: Dogs and Kids Learning Together. This truly showcases NBS Animal Rescue’s steadfast commitment to partner with fellow animal welfare groups within our community to bring aid to ALL pets in need within our community!
