TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATIONS

DOGS:
Distemper (2 doses) | Fecal Test | Bordetella* | Rabies (for dogs 6 months or older) | Canine Influenza H3N2/H3N8 Bivalent (2 doses)

*MANDATORY WAITING PERIOD FOLLOWING ANY BORDETELLA VACCINATION
After being vaccinated with the Bordetella vaccine, a non-negotiable waiting period is required before your dog can come into Bark-A-Bout and be around other dogs. Because of this waiting period, we strongly advise that your dog receive their Bordetella vaccination at least two to three weeks prior to your dog’s scheduled stay at Bark-A-Bout. The Bordetella vaccination is much like a flu shot for humans, in that, following their vaccination, there is a possibility that your dog might contract a mild form of the strain. As a result, your dog may be contagious and pass it on to other dogs. If your dog shows any symptoms of Canine Cough, they are not allowed in our facility at any time during their treatment. Additionally, all dogs must be symptom-free for at least 14 days before they can return to activity at Bark-A-Bout.

FIRST TIME BORDETELLA VACCINATION WAITING PERIOD GUIDELINES:
Intranasal/ Oral Vaccination Method: (1 dose): A non-negotiable 4-day waiting period is required.
Injectable Vaccination Method: A non-negotiable 2-week waiting period is required after the 2nd booster in the series is completed. (Must complete the series as recommended by your veterinarian).
YEARLY RENEWAL OF BORDETELLA VACCINE (BOOSTER SHOT):
Intranasal/Oral Vaccination Method: A non-negotiable 4-day waiting period is required.
Injectable Vaccination Method: A non-negotiable 24-hour waiting period is required.
